Filter considerations

 

   Before using the stainless steel filter, it is necessary to check whether the accessories and sealing ring are complete and whether there is any damage, and then install it as required. The new filter must be cleaned with detergent (please don't use acid cleaning). After washing, use high-temperature steam to sterilize, disinfect, and clean the filter to avoid contamination.

 

   When installing the filter, do not connect the inlet and outlet reversely. The port on the side of the bottom plate of the pipe filter is the liquid inlet, and the pipe connected to the filter element socket is the clean liquid outlet. The new filter element is packaged in a plastic bag by the manufacturer in a clean production plant. Do not tear the plastic packaging before use. Use a more demanding filter element. After installation, it must be sterilized by high-temperature steam.

 

   When inserting the filter element into the opening, the filter element must be vertical. After inserting the opening, the pressure plate buckles the tip fin, and then tighten the screw to stop it. After the entrance of the filter element of 226 interface, it should be rotated 90 degrees and clamped. This is the key to installation. If you are not careful, the seal will not be achieved, and the water leakage will be easy, and the use requirements will not be met.

 

The pressure gauge of the cylinder is a liquid pressure display gauge. If it is a secondary filter, it is normal that the first filter pressure gauge index is slightly less. The longer the use time, the pressure will increase and the flow rate will decrease, which means that the gap of the filter element is mostly If it is blocked, flush or replace with a new filter element.

 

   When filtering, the pressure used is generally about 0.1MPa, which can meet the production needs. As time and flow increase, the filter element's micropores will be blocked and the pressure will increase. Generally, it should not exceed 0.4MPa, and the maximum should never exceed 0.6MPa. Otherwise, it will damage the filter element or be punctured, so you should pay special attention when using the precision filter.

 

  The general principle of pipeline filter selection

 

  1. Inlet and outlet diameter: In principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the filter should not be smaller than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, and it is generally the same as the inlet pipe diameter.

 

  2. Nominal pressure: Determine the pressure level of the filter according to the highest pressure that may appear in the filter pipeline.

 

  3. The choice of the number of holes: the main consideration is the particle size of the impurities to be intercepted, which is determined according to the process requirements of the medium. The particle size that can be intercepted by various specifications of screens can be found in the following table "Filter Specifications".

 

  4. Filter material: The material of the filter is generally the same as the material of the connected process pipeline. For different service conditions, you can consider choosing a filter made of cast iron, carbon steel, low alloy steel or stainless steel.

 

  5. Filter resistance loss calculation: For water filters, the pressure loss is 0.52~1.2kpa under the general calculation of the rated flow rate
