Although industry standards and operating specifications such as ISO 15403:2000(E) stipulate the dew point of compressed natural gas in gas filling stations. However, the impact of moisture in natural gas systems is not always immediately apparent. Although the dew point of the pipeline system under online pressure may have reached -40°C, compression will increase the dew point of natural gas. When the pressure of natural gas rises, the dew point value also rises. Therefore, although when the natural gas in the pipeline system reaches the compressor, the dew point value is already very low, but when the natural gas passes through the compressor outlet, the dew point value will greatly increase. This requirement can be seen in the ISO 15403:2000(E) standard: Natural gas dryers must be installed in NGV filling stations, especially in areas where the temperature will drop in winter.

1. Drying process: the raw material gas enters the dehydration device from the air inlet and removes solid impurities, liquid water and a small amount of hydrocarbons through the pre-filter, and then passes through the adsorption bed to remove the gaseous water to meet the requirements of the finished product.
